Do I need a domain or hosting already?
No, if you have not registered a domain yet or organised hosting then we can also arrange this for you. Firstly, you need to decide on a domain name and check it is available. You can do this by using a ‘whois’ service. For a .co.uk domain we recommend checking on the Nominet website or for a .com domain the ICANN Lookup. Hosting can be arranged from £75 plus VAT per year.
I have a site already, can this stay live whilst the new site is built?
Yes, there are several ways we can do this depending on how your hosting provider works. The easiest way is to create a subdomain which will enable full testing of the new site before switching over.
Can I see the site whilst it is being built?
Yes, access can be given so you can see progress and ensure the site is what you were hoping for.
Will I be able to make my own updates to the site content in the future?
Yes, before handing over we will ensure you have enough knowledge to enable you to update the basic site content.
Can I really get a new site for £299?
Yes, for £299 you can get a homepage complete with a slider or a single banner image, a contact page complete with a contact form and 1 other page. All you need is to know what you want on the pages and to provide the written content.
I’ve seen a site I like, can I have something similar?
Almost certainly, as part of the process we will ask you for examples of sites you like/dislike to try and get a feel for what you want to achieve with your new website.
